Based in Amsterdam, Frame Magazine publishes design-related articles to keep worldwide interior designers and architects up to date with products and projects. In a recent article, they covered Claus Porto‘s design inspiration for their enticing boutique store in NoLita, New York City. Discover Juniper’s fixture that embellished the space.
Claus Porto’s Design Inspiration
Claus Porto is more than just an astonishing store of artisan soap and fragrance collections. Its interior is flooded with Portuguese history—from its perfectly-arched walkway to its faceted diamond tiling—designed by Tacklebox Architecture. The ground floor’s design was borrowed from São Bento’s iconic railroad, refined into an elegant passage that displays their products.
Modern Linear Lighting in Claus Porto
Running down the length of Claus Porto’s space are connected segments of our THIN Multiples Dyad. The linear profile of the configuration was the missing link to tastefully tie their design inspiration together. The THIN Multiples Dyad has two 1/2-inch diameter segments parallel to each other that were rotated in opposite directions to cast light to Claus Porto’s collections.
Using magnetic snap-on joints, the THIN Multiples Dyad seamlessly connects on each end that allowed the configuration to stretch to the space’s length. The eye-catching brass straps do not only fasten both segments horizontally, but also contribute to the overall luxurious aesthetics of Claus Porto.
